Frequently asked questions
Everything, plainly stated.
What BrandDrop does, what it deliberately doesn't do, and what that means for creators and brands.
For creators
Does it cost anything to participate?
No. Creator participation is free. There are no sign-up fees, no subscriptions, and no charges to apply to a campaign.
Does BrandDrop take a commission?
No. BrandDrop does not collect commissions from creators. Whatever a brand agrees to pay you is entirely yours.
Does BrandDrop represent me?
No. BrandDrop is not your agent, manager, employer, or legal representative, and it does not negotiate on your behalf. Applying does not create a management agreement or any form of representation.
Who decides what I get paid?
You and the brand do. BrandDrop does not determine creator compensation and does not receive a percentage of it.
Do I have to be 18?
Yes. Everyone using BrandDrop must be at least 18 years old.
Am I required to work exclusively through BrandDrop?
No. There is no exclusivity. You are free to work with any other platform, agency, or brand at any time.
Who decides which campaigns I work on?
You do. Nothing is assigned. You review published opportunities and independently choose which ones to apply for.
What are the follower requirements?
We're currently focused on independent creators with roughly 50,000 to 500,000 followers on their primary platform.
What does verification involve?
Verification confirms that you are the creator behind the account you list. Details are shared with applicants during review.
For brands
What can I publish on BrandDrop?
Paid sponsorship opportunities with clear budgets, deliverables, and timelines. Campaigns should be specific enough for a creator to decide whether they're a fit.
How do creators reach me?
Interested creators apply to your published campaign. After a creator applies, you communicate with them directly.
Does BrandDrop negotiate on my behalf?
No. BrandDrop does not negotiate sponsorship agreements for either side and does not set compensation. Terms are agreed directly between you and the creator.
Does BrandDrop pick creators for my campaign?
No. Creators browse published campaigns and apply independently. You review the applications and decide who to work with.
Can I publish a campaign today?
Not yet. This first version is focused on recruiting founding creators and collecting interest from emerging brands. Join the brand waitlist and we'll notify you when publishing opens.
About the platform
Does BrandDrop handle payments?
No. BrandDrop does not process, hold, or handle sponsorship payments. Payment is arranged directly between the brand and the creator.
Is a collaboration guaranteed?
No. BrandDrop does not guarantee sponsorships, applications, responses, or completed collaborations. Applying to a campaign is an expression of interest, not a contract.
Who is responsible for checking the other side?
Brands and creators are responsible for evaluating each other, and any sponsorship agreement is entered into directly between them. BrandDrop is not a party to it.
What happens if someone submits false information?
Audience, identity, business, and campaign information must be accurate. We may remove suspicious, deceptive, unsafe, or fraudulent profiles and campaigns at any time.
Is there a public creator directory?
No. BrandDrop does not publish a browsable directory of creators. Brands see creators who choose to apply to their campaigns.
Is matching automated?
No. There is no automated matching or algorithmic pairing. Creators choose campaigns themselves and brands review applications themselves.
What stage is BrandDrop at right now?
This first version is a public website only. We are recruiting founding creators and collecting brand interest — the full marketplace is not live yet.
